The purpose of the Altona EMMC Food Services Ministry is to glorify God by promoting fellowship and providing mentoring/ discipleship opportunity in service and outreach.

Our 3 serving groups consist of 3-5 people in each group. They are on a rotation to serve at church functions/banquets. One serving group is in charge of serving at funerals. Each of these serving groups call upon the care groups when help is needed. If you have ever given any thought to the time, energy and personnel hours that go into one of those events, then you realize why Food Services is a ministry in itself. "We can accomplish more together than we can alone."
